Our school has two blackboards but only half a stick of chalk. The children write their names in the dirt instead.
The ministry calls this "alternative learning." We call it Tuesday.
Every year, our best student leaves. Sometimes for the city. Sometimes for the fields. Always for survival.
Our curriculum exists in the cracks between official lessons.
Because the chalk dust still sticks to small fingers. Because one notebook can hold infinite dreams. Because education here isn't about potential - it's about defiance.
The bell doesn't work. The children come anyway.
